About Me

Sophia has been a passionate student of theater from a young age. She began to study theater in Paris, France, where she lived with her family for five years. Her pursuit of theatrical design work started in high school, where her costume and set designs won Superior rankings at both the District and State Florida Thespian Festivals. Her 1/2" scale set box model for In the Heights was awarded with the best in show title at the district festival in 2018.

She attended Lake Forest College and graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and French. She was also awarded the McPherson Prize for Scholarship in Theater.

In addition to both set and costume design, Sophia loves to draw and paint. When she's not designing, she enjoys listening to the latest Broadway musicals and visiting New York City with her family.
